Hashfile uses the Files facility in IOS which means you can store your file in your cloud provider of choice and have it sync with other devices in any way you want. Most importantly - you own the data. There are no servers, no logins, no databases.

Encrypt your secret data with state of the art encryption (the same used by Boxcryptor) so you can never be without your bank account details on the go and you dont need an internet connection. Be warned - Hashfile is a zero-knowledge app - this means if you forget your password you cannot recover encrypted data. That is by design - because everything about your data is contained within the plain text that you own, then any inbuilt way to recover a forgotten password in the file itself would compromise the security of that data!

At its heart, Hashfile is a text editor - you can indeed browse, search and edit the contents of the raw file.
